American Dry Needling Association diploma program
American Dry Needling Association Diploma

A dry needling diploma built on clinical reasoning, not just needle placement.

Three progressive courses. Eighty-plus Hybrid CEUs. One integrated system for manual and electric dry needling, tissue-specific dosing, peri-neural application, and regenerative rehabilitation — taught by researchers and clinicians who still treat patients.

What A-DNA Is

Dry needling is a technique. A-DNA is a dry needling philosophy.

Most dry needling programs teach you where to put the needle. They do not teach you how to decide whether to put it there at all — and why.

You move from protocol-based needling to mechanism-based clinical reasoning — dosing manual and electric dry needling by tissue type, healing phase, and clinical goal, integrated with manual therapy, movement, and load management. Built on tissue physiology and published evidence, not anatomical memory.

American Dry Needling Association Diploma (use A-DNA after your name)
Three progressive courses: appendicular, axial, and advanced integration
80+ Hybrid CEU hours (online didactic + 2-day in-person lab intensives)
Full-color clinical manuals, protocols, and competency-based skill validation

Faculty are active clinicians with patient panels. They treat, publish, and bring current practice experience into every course. No career educators.

The Curriculum

Three courses. One progressive system.

Each course builds on the last. By the end of the diploma, you will make autonomous needling decisions — not follow protocols.

Outcomes

After completing the A-DNA Diploma, you will be able to:

Make needling decisions based on tissue physiology — not trigger point charts
Dose manual and electric dry needling by tissue type, healing phase, and clinical goal
Apply peri-neural needling for facial nerve, trigeminal, radicular, and polyneuropathy cases
Manage neurogenic pain, hypersensitivity, and CRPS-like presentations
Integrate needling with manual therapy, movement, and load management
Apply electric dry needling within evidence-informed parameters
Sequence needling within a comprehensive rehab plan based on tissue state
Sequence needling within a comprehensive rehab plan based on tissue state
Build documentation that matches clinical reasoning
Present dry needling services with confidence
Who Teaches A-DNA

Clinicians who built the systems they teach.

All faculty actively treat patients and run clinical programs. No career educators.

How to Complete A-DNA

Start with one course.
Earn the diploma at your own pace.

Built for working clinicians. Start where it matters to you and complete the full diploma on your timeline.

01

Start With A-DNA-1

Foundational safety, technique, and dosing fundamentals for extremity conditions. No prior dry needling required. Complete the 8-hour online didactic, then attend the 2-day lab.

02

Progress to A-DNA-2

Axial applications: spine, craniofacial, headaches, TMD, and pelvic. Builds directly on A-DNA-1.

03

Complete With A-DNA-3

Peri-neural needling, neurogenic pain, and complex cases. The capstone.

04

Earn Your Credential

When all three courses are complete, your A-DNA Diploma is awarded. Whether that takes 6 months or 24, you earn the same diploma.
