

Dr. Molly Vaughan is a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health and pediatic physical therapy, with advanced clinical, academic, and leadership experience in specialty practice education. She is a Board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist and holds a Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy through the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health. Her clinical expertise includes pediatric pelvic health, bowel and bladder dysfunction, toileting concerns, developmental delay, pelvic pain, and the use of ultrasound imaging and biofeedback as part of pelvic health rehabilitation.
Dr. Vaughan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the U.S. Army–Baylor University Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy and has served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve for more than 17 years. She has held academic roles teaching pediatric and pelvic health content and has contributed to the development of specialty pelvic health education at both entry-level and post-professional levels.
She is the founder of the Pediatric Pelvic Health Special Interest Group within the APTA Academy of Pelvic Health and has served on national task forces addressing internal pelvic health examinations in pediatric populations and the use of ultrasound imaging in pelvic health practice. Dr. Vaughan has also authored workforce data reports in male and pediatric pelvic health and regularly teaches continuing education courses for pelvic health and pediatric physical therapists.
